The 2026 Sport Class Pylon Racing Seminar will be conducted at the Roswell Airport (KROW), during [TBA]. This 4-day intensive ground and flight training course will 1 day of briefings, and 3 days of Pylon Race Training. All aspects of closed course pylon air racing will be covered during the course. Pilots that successfully complete the training, and pass the check ride, will be issued a Sport Class Racing License, and will be eligible to compete in Air Races that Sport Class participates in.

Sun, May 18, 2025: 2 – 3 Formation Hops
Mon, May 19, 2025: 2 – 3 Formation Hops
Tue, May 20, 2025: Mass Migration (multiple formations) to KROW by 1100.
PRS In-Brief and PRS Ground School part 1.
Wed, May 21, 2025: 2 PRS flights
Thu, May 22, 2025: 2 PRS flights and PRS Ground School part 2
Fri, May 23, 2025: 1 PRS flight Departures
Fee Structure: Rookies – $1,500
Certified Racers – $500
In order to participate in PRS, current Sport Class Racers, and prospective Rookie Racers must complete the following tasks:
1. Review the Pilot Qualifications and Aircraft Eligibility Requirements on the membership page of this website.
2a. Current Members Renew your Sport Class Membership via the link on the membership page.
2b. Prospective New Members Join Sport Class (after reviewing the information on the home page and the membership page, complete the New Member Application)
3. Pay your annual membership fee.
**4. Join the Sport Class Groups.io group (both “Main” and “Racers and Owners”).
**5. Complete the PRS application steps
**6. Upload all required documents, per the PRS application instructions
**Detailed instructions will be provided for each of these steps. If you are a member of the Racers and Owners subgroup in Groups.io, application instructions can be added by clicking HERE.
NOTE: RARA PRS applications are completed via an online application program hosted by RARA.
NOTE: The PRS application process is initiated with an Invitation Letter from the RARA CEO, and will contain additional information and instructions. That Invitation Letter will be forwarded from the Sport Class President to all eligible racers (Certified and Rookie)
